Minutes from a planning meeting held in the village hall on Saturday 19th November at 10.30am

 16/02202/LB Hill Cottage, Hill Lane – 2 storey extension to rear – there were no objections to the application

Proposed Cllr Hickman, seconded Cllr G Mackison

 16/02479 Park Mill, Hill Lane – demolition and replacement 5 bedroom oak framed family home – there were no objections to the application

16/02478 Oaklands House, Evesham Road, Bricklehampton – rear extension.  There were no objections to the application

16/02380 Nosterns Well, Netherton – change of use of agricultural building to residential dwelling.  Discussion took place, and it was agreed generally, that GPD planning applications went through the ‘planning process ‘with little attention paid to detail.  Whilst there were no objections to this application it was agreed that we make reference to points that would require further clarification, namely:

  • Surface Water – no reference made to the disposal of
  • Electricity Supply – is it to be assumed that the supply will be underground
  • Curtilage to the site seems very small
  • Parking facilities – only 2 were identified, which seemed inadequate for a 5 bedroomed family home
  • Sewerage system – no location on the site plan as where this is to be situated

  • Bank Mandate – A backlog at Lloyds Bank meant that a recent request for signatory changes and correspondence address had not been finalised.  Chair had lodged a complaint with Lloyds Bank.
  • Phone Kiosk – Notification had been received that the Elmley Castle pay phone was scheduled for removal.  There was included an option to ‘adopt’ for £1.  Following discussion, it was agreed the parish council ‘adopt’ the phone box, with discussion to take place at a later date, as to what to do with it.
